Since 2020, the Taikoo Li Chengdu team, in conjunction with the on-site business format, has planned a membership system for all loyalty members. The goal is to provide members with a fresh and novel online experience and rewards while enjoying the offline shopping experience. NUDGE had the privilege of working closely with the Taikoo Li Chengdu team, completing the work from badge concepts, naming, graphic design to animated design.
NUDGE believes that the membership system could help users shape various types of consumption habits, enhance member stickiness, and flexibly coordinate with marketing activities, helping businesses create more value.
Unlike physical badges, online badges lack the sensory dimensions of touch, hearing, and smell, making it more challenging to evoke the reward incentives of physical rewards. Therefore, our focus is on strong visual attraction, refining details and delicacy, and incorporating storytelling appropriately to guide members to discover the badge world. We design the badges to generate user's interest in exploring the conditions and benefits behind each badge, and ultimately complete the "Earn-Collect-Share" behavior, stimulating and creating a sense of honor.
In terms of badge concepts, NUDGE continued the strategy positioning of the membership mini-program as the "Life Experience Curator." Combining Taikoo Li's unique brand temperament and the different characteristics of each badge section, we considered aspects such as humanities, consumer experience, fun, and moldable behavior. We engaged in discussions and ultimately realized the online badge functionality and experience.
The badge system attracted the attention of millions of customers upon its launch. It also helped Taikoo Li obtain more precise member data, enabling better member services and value creation.
The badge system is still evolving, and NUDGE will continue to introduce exquisite designs for Taikoo Li Chengdu and its customers.
